Helmet and Paddings
I have mentioned a number of times that I have reached the point wherein competition is not part of my agenda anymore. Whatever endeavour I dwell at the moment is for the uplifting of self and for whoever will receive it. I do choir just for the enjoyment and service and not for proving that my choir can excel better than the other. I paint because it is relaxing and it is self revealing and not to let anybody eat my dirt. I shoot photos to let other see the colourful and bright side of life and that there is something good in anything once you put it in a frame thus proclaiming that the world is not that bad. I sing and dance for self expression and gratification. To put it simply, everything that I do now, I try to make sure that it is in a form of worship to the one who allows me to move my brush, to catch a tune that harmonise with other tunes, to move my dancing feet, to capture images and to love my wife and kid.
I am sorry for those who are still trying to compete with others who are not in first place in the competing mode. Those who compete with those who do not want to compete are always the losers and dim-witted. It’s like one is still wearing the football gears with the helmet and paddings idiotically running around another who is just enjoying a cup-a-tea on a bench in the middle of a green field.
