LIES CONFRONTING TRUTH

Living with the truth makes life easier. I may have a much simpler life when I don’t falsify.  It is really hard to maintain a façade which makes me more appealing to a circle of people whom I want to belong.  I have learned that living a low maintenance life can be found when I am true to myself.  No façade.  No lying.  I am what I am and that’s it.  I will take the course where I am best at instead of taking somebody else’ course and fake it.  Again, covering a lie is a high maintenance.  Let nature takes its course in my true self.  True people will find true people. I have been in the road where I have been true to myself and in what I am good at and there were people who said otherwise and tried to claim the truth in me.  I have learned in a hard way that being true to myself is the best defence against deception.  Truth is empowering.  I have learned that no deceiver can confront me head on if I stay firm to what is true.  Deceivers can only live in the dark.  They will stay behind me and they cannot afford to be confronted.  I want to be faithful to the truth.  I believe that it will always win over lies.  The only way that lies would survive is when they are kept hidden.  The time when lies confront the truth, that’s the end of its power.  But lies won’t last forever.  “I am the Way, the Truth and The Life”, says the Man Above.  The entire universe will conspire to surface the Truth because that is how He wills it.

I flew to Rotorua for a job Interview in the District Council. It went well.Rotorua is small town but very famous in attracting many visitors because of its beautiful lakes, Hot Pools, Redwood Forest and giant geysers.Too bad, I did not get to see a single one of them for I only had an hour interview and I got to fly back to Auckland City.Inside the airport, while waiting for my flight back in Auckland City, I ordered a latte in a coffee shop. THE MOVIE In the movie “Head Over Heels”, Bob Smoot played by Freddie Prince Jr. asked his girlfriend, Amanda played by Monica Potter, “Do you believe in Love at First Sight?” Amanda replied, “ It is too easy. I believe in taking a DEEPER LOOK.” Love at first sight is idealistic to those who are hopeless romantics or to those singles who are still waiting for a magic that comes on their sight once their soulmates would appear in midst of the enticing mist ala Hollywood effect. That’s not bad after all. In the case of Amanda, she does not wait for the magic. Filipino Sweet Style Spaghetti

This morning, I craved for a Filipino Sweet Style Spaghetti. And so I told Claire that I was gonna go to the Asian Store in Cashel to buy that Del Monte Filipino Sweet Style Spaghetti sauce. She told me that she wanted to come along so she would see what else she could buy in the store. Then JC has to come along with us. . There is one store that might become popular soon for the pinoys in Lincoln called Filipino Mart. However, since I was in hurry to cook and to satisfy my craving, we settled to visit the nearer store. And so we shopped and shopped in the popular Asian Store in Cashel. Along with the sauce and spaghetti, I prepared grinded meat, Kransky (substitute for the Purefoods hotdog which we do not have here), onions, green pepper, carrots, and garlic. And so I cooked.
