THE TRUTH IS.....

I learned when being true will get me to a much more simple way of dealing with things. Being who I am at the moment is just sufficient for me to make it for the day. Being who I am not will just add to a more complex situation. Wanting to be somebody can be a dream and can be achieved by humbly accepting that I am not there yet but I am making the most of the current me to make the step toward it. It’s good to dream to be somebody someday. If it’s gonna mean going through stages, get on with those stages one at a time. No shortcut or else I’ll end up going back to the drawing board once I fall short and fail. Don’t ever claim you are that somebody now when you are still not. That’s not living the dream. That’s faking. You may never know that an expert in the field is laughing at you doing stuff that you are not expert about in which you are claiming you are.

Truth will get in you into trouble when you are living with a lie. When you wanna be fraud of something, look at what you are offending when you are being one. Make sure it is not bigger than you who may potentially get back at you. I guess the most mortal of all frauds is when you take the Name of the Lord God in vain (The 3rd Commandment). Many claim that they are God’s Stewards but then you see them cursing, rumour mongering, slandering, creating divisions among God’s Flock, destroying marriage and putting not uplifting but distractive words to others. Come on, man. Before you put on that God’s Steward ID, make sure you are truly living the Name. Do not put it in vain.

The truth is I am a sinner just like anybody else. We all have our ups and downs in morality. I make sure that when I stumble and fall, I look up to Him, stand up again and correct my ways. The truth will set me free out of humility before the Lord who will give me mercy.

I am fascinated when I get to watch shows like X-factor and the Voice where the professionals get to guide the talent. The way the relationship goes well between the talent and the mentor is when the talent gives complete trust with the mentor and just accepts that the mentor has a better view of how the talent can emanate the stuff effectively and well. It’s just like a director who has the best view on what’s going on outside the stage. I remember there was this hip guy who was part of the cast in the stage play. During the rehearsal the director directed him to exaggerate his movement. But the guy being cool but a newbie thought that the movement is awkward and not cool. And so he did not follow the director’s direction when the rest of the cast exaggerated their movements during the performance. During the performance it turned out that the audience viewed that the cool guy was awkward on stage and the rest of the cast were outstanding. What is deemed awkward in real life is normal

Filipino Sweet Style Spaghetti

This morning, I craved for a Filipino Sweet Style Spaghetti. And so I told Claire that I was gonna go to the Asian Store in Cashel to buy that Del Monte Filipino Sweet Style Spaghetti sauce. She told me that she wanted to come along so she would see what else she could buy in the store. Then JC has to come along with us. . There is one store that might become popular soon for the pinoys in Lincoln called Filipino Mart. However, since I was in hurry to cook and to satisfy my craving, we settled to visit the nearer store. And so we shopped and shopped in the popular Asian Store in Cashel. Along with the sauce and spaghetti, I prepared grinded meat, Kransky (substitute for the Purefoods hotdog which we do not have here), onions, green pepper, carrots, and garlic. And so I cooked. UST Class 5 CE

What is good about having a Facebook Account is that you get the probability to touch base with your long lost classmates. It all started when a certain guy which I did not recognize in his profile picture by the name of Alex commenting “ If I am not mistaken, you were UST Batch (Bleep) 5 CE. Right?” And then he produced a class picture which included me 60 pounds ago. “O yeah, he is Alex from Class 5 CE. And then a few days after, several of my classmates from 5 CE sprouted and asking to add them in my Facebook Contact List. Amazing! It’s like I feel young again. There is also a feeling that you want to catch up with them and see how they are after all the decades. Ooops! Years. What do you know? Most of us haven’t been in touch after graduation and after the Besavilla Crash Course for CE Board Exam.
